Marcie Benavides is a Zumba Education Specialist for Zumba Fitness. She holds a degree in Exercise Physiology, is group exercise certified through AFAA, and is certified through ACE for Personal Training. Marcie has worked in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years teaching such formats as step, high-low impact aerobics, kickboxing, spinning and weight training. However, her passion is to teach her Zumba Fitness classes! Marcie travels worldwide leading Instructor Trainings for Zumba Fitness. She has two children and enjoys being home in Miami.
Ricardo Alas has been a Master Group/Personal Fitness Trainer for over 10 years. His credentials are as follows: AFAA Certified as Group Fitness/ Kickboxing Instructor, NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), STRONG by Zumba Master Trainer. He is also a Firefighter/EMT and has beenrecognized as a true leader in the field of fitness and his core belief is “with sweat and determination you will succeed”!
Danielle O’Reilly has a Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University. Her professional experience includes health, youth fitness, group training, percussion performance, and an extensive background in K-12 physical education. She’s taught multiple fitness events for the American Diabetes Association, Relay for Life, along with presenting at the Arizona Physical Education Convention and traveling to a variety of schools in Arizona to share best practices for youth fitness and physical education. Danielle is passionate about helping others reach their health and fitness goals, cooking, music, and spreading the word about POUND! As she watched a short video of POUND, she knew she had to share this workout with her community. As a Master Pro, Danielle loves giving the permission to ROCK and spreading the POUND love around the country! An RYT-500, Zoe has being teaching yoga for 10 years. Six of those years, she taught in Hawaii where she opened up a new market for a major yoga company and presented at the first ever Wanderlust Oahu. Zoe is the National Education Manager for Yoga with Life Time Fitness.
Ashlie has been with Life Time Fitness for 9 years! She is the creator of, Gluteus MAXout! Her certifications include ACE, AFAA, and Life Power Yoga. You can find her on the schedule in Houston, teaching: a variety of signature formats. With a background in performance and a BFA in acting she uses her talents to change lives and motivate people.
Alexis is a master trainer and studio manager at Life Time, holds a bachelors degree in dance and a masters degree in education from Michigan State University. She began her journey as an NASM certified personal trainer before venturing into studio and cycle classes, allowing her love for performing to shine after a decade of working as a professional dancer, choreographer and dance captain for Ceasers Windsor Casino, MGM Casino and the Detroit Piston's Dance Team. Alexis is a facilitator for the Life Time Academy AFAA Gf Instructor training and Stages Indoor Cycle instructor training.
Crystal is a Peak Pilates Master Instructor, a Life Time Academy Pilates Instructor and hold two comprehensive Pilates certifications. Learning never ends for Cystal, she has been teaching Pilates and movement for over 15 years and also has a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from The Ohio State University. Crystal began her love of movement early in life as a dancer and now spends her time educating and inspiring others in Pilates, Personal Training, and Obstacle Course training.
Katie Haggerty has become a popular member of the professional fitness industry through her unique brand and delivery. She is well known for her ability to create a balance of innovation, breakdown and functionality through a signature style of fun that creates an experience unlike any other. Katie is the Signature Program Manager and co-creator of Warrior Sculpt and LifeBarre, including developmental workshops, to grow the Life Time Fitness brand. She is a presenter at multiple national fitness conferences, specializing in yoga, dance, step and motivational speaking, and has been awarded the 2014 EMPOWER!
