This 8-hour course is designed to systematically prepare you to teach and coach a high-intensity, metabolic-driven Jillian Michaels BODYSHRED™ class within a group exercise setting. You will be introduced to new concepts, teaching tools and a motivating delivery style that will change the way you view teaching fitness, while expanding your own professional growth. This training course includes the science that informs BODYSHRED along with interactive, practical application of the methodology and a creative experience of the moves and programming. You will be required to pass a practical exam at the end of the training and a written exam within 2 weeks after the workshop to become a fully certified BODYSHRED instructor. Leslee Bender 2010 finalist for IDEA Instructor of the year, graduate of the Gray Institute of Applied Functional Science and creator of the Bender Ball has over 25 years in the fitness industry presenting internationally. Leslee has created the first core training programming with a small ball to protect the back as documented by The Journal Of Applied Research. Jenna has been teaching Zumba® Fitness classes for over 6 years and presenting Zumba® instructor trainings internationally for over 4 years. With a degree in Exercise & Sport Science from the University of Florida, she also holds certifications with ACE, AFAA & AEA. As a Zumba® Education Specialist, Jenna teaches Zumba® Basic 1, Basic 2, Zumba® Toning & Aqua Zumba® instructor trainings. With a passion for dance and fitness, she loves teaching.
Andrea Du Cane is Director of Certifications for Dragon Door Publications, a Master Kettlebell Instructor, CK-FMS certified, CICS certified, Primal Move National Instructor and RIST, ZHealth certified, and has a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She has written and produced two DVDs The Kettlebell Goddess Workout, a top selling Kettlebell DVD on Amazon.com and her most recent The Kettlebell Boomer. Her DVD, Working With Special Populations, was filmed at the RKC Level II. Her Ageless Body Book was released fall of 2011. She is featured in the From Russia With Tough Love video and book, and was one of the athletes featured in the TRX-Kettlebell Power DVD. She published an article on Russian Kettlebells for Best Body Magazine. She was interviewed and photographed for an article introducing kettlebells for Oxygen Magazine.
Kaycee is currently the National Brand Manager and Master Instructor Trainer for Life Time Fitness, the Healthy Way of Life Company, and is celebrating 25 years in the fitness industry. Her journey includes being a fitness instructor, Yoga/Pilates Instructor/trainer, Education Specialist, Program Director, Format Creator and National Fitness Presenter. Kaycee has been seen in many fitness videos and online video's and loves traveling the globe to share her passion. She has many fitness industry certifications including ACE, AFAA, NASM, Schwinn, 200 hr YTT, Stott Pilates and quite a variety of industry specialty certifications. Besides her love in working with instructors and mentors she has a deep passion for Motivational Speaking, Yoga and Dance.
Shannon Fable, 2013 IDEA and 2006 ACE Instructor of the Year, is the founder of SFR, a consulting firm for aspiring fitness educators, manufacturers and managers, as well as the owner of Balletone® and GroupEx Pro®. Shannon is a 17 year fitness veteran, freelance writer, as well as an international presenter for Schwinn®, BOSU and ACE. She is a member of the ACE Board of Directors, has helped author portions of the ACE and ACSM Group Fitness manuals, and has starred in over 25 fitness videos. Shannon is a certified Book Yourself Solid® Business Coach interested in helping fitness professionals navigate the industry and find their place. Angie Green is a Master Trainer for Beachbody, the producers of the best selling at home fitness programs such as Insanity, P90x, Turbo Fire and more. Working alongside Shaun T, she has been instrumental in developing the Insanity format and certification to bring the program to fitness clubs all over the country. Angie has been a national presenter since 2006 and travels around the country to present instructor trainings and at fitness conventions. She has been in several fitness instructor videos as well as on QVC and the infomercial for Turbo Fire. Angie is the owner of AngieFit.com and lives in Toledo, OH. She also currently works alongside Chalene Johnson as Format Expert for Turbo Kick where she assists in the creation of music and choreography for instructors.
Katie Haggerty has become a popular member of the professional fitness industry since 1999 through her unique brand and delivery. She is well known for her ability to create a balance of innovation, breakdown and functionality through a signature style of fun. Katie is a National Group Fitness Brand Manager, co-creator and instructor of numerous developmental workshops to grow the Life Time Fitness brand. She is a presenter at national fitness conferences and motivational speaker. She holds a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and is ACE certified.
Susanna Kalnes is a Chicago area, Level 4 Master Trainer for BeachBody. In this position, she certifies others to teach Insanity, PiYo, and TurboKick across the state of Illinois. Fitness is truly her passion and she delivers information in a fun, educational, and non-intimidating way. Kalnes is also regularly interviewed on Chicago news TV as a fitness expert, and has been featured in national media including SHAPE magazine and iHeart Radio.

Mark has been active in fitness throughout his life. As a child and young adult he was a gymnast, tennis player as well as a Cheerleader. Because of his love of fitness he made the decision to acquire a degree in Recreation and Leisure Services as well as Psychology. His first professional experience in the industry was 20 years ago as an After School Program Leader/ Assistant Director for Denton Parks and Recreation. Upon graduating college Mark continued in fitness as a program manager for Plano Parks and Recreation. Julie Stepnoski lives in Chicago, IL and grew up as an avid dancer and soccer player. She is a certified AFAA and ACE group exercise instructor and has been a R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor for one year. When R.I.P.P.E.D. was first introduced to her as a participant in 2011, her love for the choreographed music that matched each move and the sports based design of the format gave her everything she needed to excel her physical and mental abilities beyond belief. Typically, certification organizations require that instructors earn a certain number of CECs to maintain and renew their certificates. Check with your certifying organization regarding specific requirements.

A: Each workshop equals .1/1.0 to .2/2.0 CECs from ACE, NASM, AFAA, AEA, AAAI/ISMA and NETA.
